Yes the material can be drilled and sanded, but doing so would void the warranty and be at your own risk, of course.
Looking to use this in a slightly different way. Is it possible to drill a roughly 1.5” hole in the other end to mount a cord and bulb fixture? Thinking you can drill it since it is plastic. Also, the other opening needs to be ever so slightly bigger. Also sand that opening a tad? Thanks Wave Lighting 1068 Diffuser
