The fixtures are designed to fit a 3" post. Since your post is 4 inches in inner diameter, you would need an adapter. We do offer an adapter that can reduce a 4 or 5-inch round light pole to fit a 3-inch pole. You can find the adapter here:This should help ensure a perfect fit for your post.
