Turn Off Power
Ensure safety by switching off the power at the wall switch or circuit breaker before starting. -
Access the Bulb
Carefully unscrew the metal cage surrounding the fixture. This will expose the bulb housed within the clear textured glass shade. -
Remove the Old Bulb
Allow the bulb to cool if it was recently on. Then, gently unscrew it counterclockwise from the medium E26 socket. -
Install the New Bulb
Insert a new bulb into the socket, turning it clockwise until secure. This fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, and CFL bulbs. Ensure the bulb's wattage does not exceed the fixture's maximum rating. -
Reattach the Metal Cage
Once the new bulb is in place, xxxx the metal cage back onto the fixture securely. -
Restore Power and Test
Turn the power back on and test the new bulb to ensure it's functioning correctly.
