This 48" LED Battery Back-Up Emergency Stairwell Light uses two LED T8 bulbs in 3000K. The big advantage is that the bulbs are replaceable, so when they eventually reach end of life you can just swap them out. Many other stairwell fixtures use integrated LEDs, which means if the LEDs fail, the entire fixture has to be replaced. With this model, you save money and reduce waste by only replacing the bulbs.
