The Vickerman V475250 Black Medium E26 Twist-On Socket is not designed to accommodate 10-gauge wire. This socket is intended for standard decorative and holiday lighting applications and is typically used with smaller wire sizes (commonly 16–18 AWG).
Due to the larger diameter of 10-gauge wire, it will not fit properly inside the socket and may prevent secure electrical connections. For safety and compliance reasons, we do not recommend using this socket with oversized conductors.
If your application requires 10-gauge wire, a heavy-duty E26 socket specifically rated for larger wire gauges would be the appropriate solution.
