You do not need to take the fixture down.
The Volume V4203-79 Indoor Antique Bronze Semi-Flush Mount features an open-top design, which allows easy access to the light bulbs after installation. Bulbs can be changed from below using a ladder while the fixture remains securely mounted in place.
As always, use proper ladder safety and ensure power is turned off before replacing bulbs, but the fixture itself does not need to be removed to perform bulb changes.
