Replacing these fixtures is a straightforward process, though it differs slightly from a standard lamp since the LEDs are built in and there are no bulbs to replace.
1. Remove the Lens
Gently twist the white plastic lens counter‑clockwise to release and remove it.
2. Unmount the Fixture
You’ll see two screws securing the LED disc to the ceiling box. Remove those screws and lower the fixture.
3. Disconnect and Rewire
Disconnect the three wires (hot, neutral, and ground). Connect the new fixture using the same wire‑to‑wire connections.
4. Reinstall
Secure the new base to the ceiling box with the screws, then twist the lens back into place.
The full process typically takes about 5–10 minutes. Just be sure to turn off the light switch—or the breaker—to ensure safe installation.
