These Bulbrite 770612 festoon bulbs are 12V lamps, so they are intended to run on the 12V output side of a 120V-to-12V transformer. However, Bulbrite lists them as dimmable with ELV electronic low-voltage dimmers. If your setup uses a magnetic low-voltage transformer and magnetic low-voltage dimmer, compatibility is not guaranteed. Because each bulb is only 0.8 watts, the total LED load may also be too low for some magnetic transformers or dimmers, which can cause flickering or poor dimming performance. For best results, we recommend confirming that the transformer and dimmer are LED-compatible and meet the minimum load requirement, or using an ELV-compatible setup.
