I have an inside ceiling light at the entrance door. It is missing the globe. it appears to have about a 4" opening with screws that you tighten to hold it in place. would this 8" plastic clear light globe with a 4" neck flanged lip be the proper replacement? View answer

Hi,I'm looking for a replacement for one of two glass 16" globes, so I want it to look as much like glass as possible to approximately match the other one, i.e. shiny surface. the fan/light model is Panasonic fv lp002. the original bulb is a 13w/2pin/base gx23 quad tube t4 3500k 780 lumens cri82.
