The G4 Emergency Battery Back Up 48" LED T8 Light Bulb | Type B Ballast Bypass | 5000K. Does both sides have to be connected to operate? I have changed all our 277v fluorescents to direct wire without a ballast, but I need the battery back up in many of them. I ordered this fixture and just opened the box to install. The globe that's supposed to cover the bulb doesn't fit into the mounting bracket. There are no assembly instuctions included in the box and there is just no way these two pieces are supposed to fit together. How does this work? View answer

Hi,I'm looking for a replacement for one of two glass 16" globes, so I want it to look as much like glass as possible to approximately match the other one, i.e. shiny surface. Would it be possible to drill a small hole near the base of this globe? I have several of these globes that are have a hole on either side used to attach the globe to a ceramic base with small wires. I believe the ones I have are of the same material.Thank youDave H View answer
